1.Re: Favorite Vives moments?

Hundreds, way too many to list probably (and yes, I am still alive).

Hi to you too Kand :)

Ah yes, Ronan, the original 'bald guy' (sorry Salt), at least 25% of the aforementioned 'hundreds' of great moments were down to him.

As for losing afternoons renter, worry about it when you wonder where weeks and months went :P

Well, we need something coded for elves then, maybe a shovel for digging holes, can we supply that on character creation?

OK I didn't get a chance to post anything alongside Valethrion's PM last night, too tired.

1) Elvalia does not want to be involved in this. There are in her mind far more important things going on at the moment.

2) OOC I don't want her involved in it either, may sound stupid but her decision is IC while mine is with the knowledge of what I have planned.

3) There is a set of ground rules in place as far as Nethar'u and the outside world - or rather ...

9.DMs: Now Salt's at it too!

Ferein detention centre, Salt and Alton attempting to communicate with the atalan prisoner...

Salt Sower: (Elven) This sounds familiar to you, doesn't it. *strains listening*

Salt Sower: What other languages do you speak, Alton?

Alton Highhill: I doubt she knows the ways animals speak.

Atalan Archmage: (Elven) It would sound more familiar human if it were not for your tongue mangling it.

Salt Sower: (Elven) Well, care to try your ...

Well, only thing I would say then is that it may have helped to know that beforehand. Seems a little over the top for just that, and already being treated by some players I've seen as more significant, including Macha.

12.DMs: The Comet
Posted by The Ranger on 2/8/2006 7:40:03 AM
The comet blazed in the sky, as large and as bright as the full moon. Seers and astrologers throughout Vives point to the return of "Lreh'maylya," which is elven for "Bringer of the Dead." The comet has not been seen in over 450 years.

Legend states that Lreh'maylya gathers imprints of the dead as it passes over Vives. While the comet is in the sky, the legends say, the dead return to the living, but only for a short while. Some fear the ...

*still laughing*

Nice one Chief.

Suggestion... just tell them they thawed out. Getting back to civilization from there at their level will be punishment enough I imagine.

Menarok for me without a doubt. Loads of potential opportunities for messing with people, I'm all for that.

I like the idea of this, Elvalia has in the past spoken to Macha on occasions where they've travelled together and made it quite clear that if she falls she wants nothing to do with anyone involved with Tarik bringing her back, Elrith was a little peeved with Ras for doing the same last night, though being as she's not exactly Elbereth's favourite elf that's more of a personal bias.

To my mind it should be difficult for a follower of Aros or Tarik to raise non elven PC's as well ...

I don't mind as such running the GMT side of things, it's pretty unlikely that Elrith is going to be looked on kindly by either side - even Fri'el's wary of her. Like the idea of two groups working in opposition though - even better if neither is aware of the other at first

Yeah, fine by me, I keep forgetting you're on your way back *grins*, I can lend a hand either way, but with one of us playing/DMing it'll certainly be easier to keep track of what's happening. Would be cool for Jerome to get some involvement so we could split it that way by all means

Bearing in mind what we said earlier re the PvP possibilities and Jer, probably best for me to run the first episode and play Elrith in the second, but up to you.

Tuesday's fine, not expecting to run anything major re Ferein until later next week anyway so no problem with it clashing
